ISO 9001 consulting within an integrated management system
We implement quality management where it adds most value: integrated with information security, continuity and service management, so you run one documented system, one audit programme and one management review. Led personally by an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is the international requirements standard for a Quality Management System (QMS), built on the process approach, risk-based thinking and continual improvement. The edition in force is ISO 9001:2015; the revision, ISO 9001:2026, is at publication stage as of September 2026, and certified organisations will be given a transition period. Its harmonised high-level structure is shared with ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 20000-1 and ISO/IEC 42001, which is what makes a single integrated system possible.
What ISO 9001 gives your organisation
Customer requirement
Still one of the most common supplier qualification requirements in manufacturing and services supply chains.
One integrated system
Quality, security, continuity and service management share one document set and one audit programme.
Process discipline
Processes defined, measured and improved, with clear ownership and interfaces.
Fewer audit days
An integrated audit covers several standards with shared evidence and a single finding register.
Risk-based thinking
Risks and opportunities addressed in the same method used for the other standards.
One management review
Top management reviews all systems in one meeting, with one decision record.
From gap analysis to an integrated QMS
Offered primarily for organisations running or building an integrated management system.
Gap analysis
Current practice assessed against ISO 9001 requirements and against the other standards in scope.
Context, processes and risk
Interested parties, process map and interactions, risks and opportunities in the shared risk method.
Documentation development
Quality policy, objectives and documented information written to your processes, integrated with existing documents.
Implementation
Process performance measures, customer feedback and nonconformity handling embedded in operations.
Integrated internal audit
One combined audit covering quality and the other standards, with a single finding register.
Management review
One review of all systems, with one decision record.
Certification support and transition
Support through the certification audit, and planning for the ISO 9001:2026 transition once its arrangements are confirmed.

Questions we are asked
Should we certify to ISO 9001:2015 now or wait for the 2026 revision?
If a customer or tender requires certification now, certify against the edition in force. A transition period will apply once ISO 9001:2026 is published, and a well-built system will need targeted changes rather than a rebuild. We will not quote a transition deadline until the arrangements are confirmed.
Why integrate ISO 9001 with ISO/IEC 27001?
Because both share the same high-level structure: context, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement. Integrating them means one document control system, one internal audit programme and one management review, which reduces documentation and audit days and stops the systems drifting apart.
Do you implement ISO 9001 on its own?
We can, but our strongest contribution is where quality management sits alongside information security, continuity or service management. If a standalone QMS is all you need, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Can one integrated audit cover several standards?
Yes. An integrated internal audit uses a combined programme and plan, shared evidence and a single finding register, reporting to one management review. We also train internal auditors to audit the integrated system.
Let us start with a scoping conversation
Thirty to forty-five minutes is usually enough to establish scope, a realistic timeline, and whether we are the right people for the work.
